Information we collect

• Contact information: We may collect various data including (but not limited to) name, email, mobile number, phone number, street, city, state, pin code, country in case of individuals. In case of companies, we additionally collect, inter-alia, name, location, details of signatories and shareholders, legal status, credit profiles, various registration identifiers, compliance status etc.
• KYC information: We may collect Know Your Customer (KYC) related information including Directors and Key Management Personnel in case of companies. These include PAN, AADHAR, location identifiers and credit profiles.
• Financial Data of the company: We may also collect your financial information to take key decisions regarding eligibility of funding and/or any other ancillary services that we may provide, either directly or indirectly.
• Documentation: We collect various documents, files of various types for the purposes of, including but not limited to, assessment, identification, use in legal proceedings, facilitating routine operations and sharing with partners of Visolent Capital. These will be stored by Visolent Capital in perpetuity unless otherwise required by law to be removed.
• Credentials: We will collect, at various times, your personal credentials to enable logging into various third party websites, portals etc. like one-time passwords, login IDs, passwords, captcha selections, answers to security questions etc. These are collected solely for the purpose of accessing data from such third party websites and are not stored by Visolent Capital.
• Information you post: We collect information you post in public digital spaces and/or on our websites.
• Other information: On accessing our websites, we collect information about your IP address and other system information. We might look at what site you came from, duration of time spent on our websites, pages accessed or what site you visit when you leave us. We might also collect the type of mobile device you are using, or the version of the operating system your computer or device is running. This information is used primarily to improve the quality of our websites and the enrich user experience.

We collect information in different ways.

• Directly from you. We collect information directly from you when you register for information on our websites. We also collect information if you post a comment on our websites or ask us a question through phone or email.
• Passively. We may use tracking tools like Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, browser cookies and web beacons for collecting information about your usage of our websites.
• From third parties. Based on preliminary information shared by you on our websites, we may seek additional information regarding yourself, your company and/or its Directors from third parties that are under regulatory supervision and also have the authority to share information with us.

Sharing of information with third-parties

• We will share information with third parties who are our principals and/or partners. We share information with lending partners who have the ability to process the loan amount required by you. We will also share information with such counterparties who facilitate (for us) data analysis, operations and/or risk management. Such counterparties would include, technology companies, financial service providers, banks and credit rating agencies. We will also share information with such counterparties as we deem fit, whether in India or outside, for the purpose of structuring and offering new products to our customers.
• We may share information to comply with law and/or to protect our interests. We will share information to respond to a court order or a subpoena or similar judicial demand. We may also share information if a government agency or established investigating body requests/demands it. We may also share information with agencies where the subject matter involves potential fraud and/or acts of financial turpitude.
• We may share information with any successor to all or part of our business. Should Visolent Capital be the subject matter of a sale (partial or complete), we may be required to share all information to the prospective owner.
• We may share your information for reasons not specifically described in/covered by this policy. We will do this only in exceptional circumstances where we believe this is required for us to be able to offer a product, service, meet judicial/legal demands and/or meet any contingency. We will however endeavour to give adequate notice of such requirement where possible.

Email Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving our marketing emails. To stop receiving our promotional emails, please email operations@visolent.com. It may take ten days for us to process your request, during which time, emails may continue to be sent to your registered IDs.

If you click on one of the links to third party websites, you may be taken to websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to the privacy practices of those websites. Read the privacy policy of other websites carefully. We are not/shall not be responsible for these third party sites.

This Privacy Policy was last updated on 03 May 2023. From time to time we may change our practices and will accordingly notify you of any material changes to this policy as required by law. We will also post an updated copy on our websites. Please check our sites periodically for updates.

Jurisdiction

If you choose to visit the websites, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Policy and the websites’ terms of use. In addition to the foregoing, any disputes arising under this Policy shall be restricted to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
